Alistar

Alistar grew up in Italy, between the frantic life of Milan and a city with a lighthouse by the sea where she has enjoyed endless skies and many horizons and liked to swim. She loved writing stories and creating images since she was a little girl and she studied Art, graduating in illustration, animation and photography. She started working as an animator from Milan to L.A. in many feature films, video clips and tv series. Over the years her work has developed into her original and whimsical style. She started publishing books and working as an illustrator full time. Alistar has been illustrating children’s books for over 10 years, working with different styles and media, both as an illustrator and an author. Her illustrations feature in books, magazines and advertisements. She lives now between Italy and Tbilisi in Georgia, a place which has captured her heart with its enchanting poetry.
