Chiara Civati

Chiara Civati ​​is an illustrator who works mainly for the world of children’s publishing and lives in the province of Como.
Since 2012 she has been working actively in the field of illustration, for the most diverse realities, from foreign and Italian publishing houses to clothing lines, from creative works to advertising posters.
Some important collaborations are with the American publisher Mascot Books (“What Makes Me Special”, “Samuel & Joey” and especially “Mimi’s Adventures in Baking”), Fabbri Editori, the English Storynory ebook site (“The Wonders of Pinocchio”, “Waking Beauty”, “Gladys alone”), Pagine in Fiore (“The Rainbow is Mys”), Editions the Cherry Tree (“Giubiana’s Legend”, “What’s in the Garden? “,”When the dinosaur leaves the museum”, “The child with the nostalgic”, “Celestino the special gnome of Santa Claus”, …), Dorchester Group and I Lake It.
In 2015, “The Legend of Giubiana” was published in Italy, a complete, entirely written and illustrated project, as well as “The Princess Who Did Not Know to Sing” (2016) and “When the Dinosaur Exits the Museum” (2017).
In addition to this, her works are often involved in exhibitions both at home in Italy and abroad.
During his travels she has been able to promote her work in America, England and Japan.
