About the ILLUSTRATOR
Born in Florence in 1954, she currently lives in Lecco, Italy. After her classical studies degree she started to attend modern literature but her passion for children s literature made her change path.
She attended lithograph courses in Urbino and evening classes at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera.
In 1976 she published her first book, The sleeping doll by Alfonso Sastre, Emme Editions. From now on she will uninterruptedly work for this and other relevant Italian and international publishers, creating illustrations for both children and young adults. She has been participating to several collectives. The last one, Mostri selvaggi, was held in Turin in 2013.
In 2014 she won Anderson Award in Italy as the best illustrator.
