About the ILLUSTRATOR
As a young child the other kids at school would gather around my desk and ask me to draw creatures and critters. Well, I am still a kid inside and enjoy drawing Old school with pen and ink and watercolor. I enjoy drawings by Beatrix Potter and Maurice Sendak. Born and raised in the Washington DC area I studied printmaking at the Art League School at the Torpedo Factory.
My artwork has been exhibited at several galleries and people just know me as The Guy who does the detailed drawings of anthropomorphic animals that seem to be telling a story. Thus, I have been doing a series of illustrations with toads, rats, otters and mice for a children’s educational book publisher.
This adult child lives in Alexandria, Virginia, spending time listening to honky-tonk music and Pink Floyd while getting my creative juices going.
