Andrea Noca

Andrea Noca is a Spanish illustrator, teacher, and graphic designer based in Manchester. With a passion for creating witty, playful, and heartwarming picture books, she is known for her vibrant and whimsical style. She originally studied to become a teacher and earned a degree in Early Childhood Education. After working for a few years in the education sector, she followed her true calling and completed further studies in Visual Communication in the UK, as well as a degree in Graphic Design and a master’s degree in Motion Graphics and Applied Illustration in Spain. Her work is deeply influenced by her background in teaching, which is why she particularly enjoys illustrating textbooks and non-fiction content. She loves blending humor, emotion, and imagination into every illustration she creates. She also enjoys writing and coming up with her own stories, often inspired by her pets or real-life experiences. There’s something magical about turning a personal moment into a story that can make others smile, wonder, or feel seen. With a creative mind, a proactive approach, and boundless energy, she is always on the lookout for new challenges. Her organizational skills, attention to detail, and love of storytelling are key to her success. Outside of work, she enjoys baking sweets (even if she’s not a big fan of eating them!), playing The Sims, and spending time with her family. She’s also a bit of an adrenaline junkie—always ready for a new adventure!
