About the ILLUSTRATOR
Claudia Gottardo was born in what she says is the most beautiful city in the world, Venice, Italy.
She grew up playing amongst the alleyways, courtyards and squares of Venice, reading comic books and watching cartoons.
At the tender age of 7, after winning a drawing contest, she decided that she would become an illustrator.
35 years later she is still convinced of this.
She now lives in Milan, Italy.
