Giulia Bracesco

Giulia Bracesco was born in Genoa, Italy in 1987. Since she was a child Giulia has loved  drawing and reading stories.
When she was 8 years old she discovered that being an illustrator could be a real job and she decided that it would be hers.
She studied graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts of Genoa, then illustration at the Academy of Fine arts of Bologna, where she graduated with 110 cum laude in 2014.
Then her work as a freelance illustrator began: she has illustrated several novels for children working for Italian editors such as Mondadori, Piemme, Einaudi, Giunti and she works for several educational editors too (Pearson, La Scuola, Raffaello, Giunti scuola ecc). She lives and works in Genoa.
