Lia Frassineti

Lia Frassineti is a children’s illustrator, specialized in fiction and educational books.
She works for Italian and foreign publishers, such as Giunti, De Agostini, Ed. Paoline, Il Barbagianni, Flower Pot Press. Among her latest published titles are: “ANIMALI, 100 Belle Finestrelle”, “The Best Baby”, “Sofia e il segreto di tutte le cose”.
Born in Rome, Italy where she lives and works, she has had the chance to work in an Art design studio in New York City.
She has loved drawing and painting since she was a child. In her illustrations she adopts a variety of techniques, such as acrylics or watercolor painting and digital Photoshop.
She has also illustrated scientific publications and has taught painting labs for children in primary school and for students in high school.
