About the ILLUSTRATOR

Born and raised in the place of origin of Ferrari cars, Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, mortadella and Lambrusco wine, Monica Bonvicini is as honest, sincere and generous as italian food is.
Since leaving her job as graphic designer at Ferrari F1 Sponsorship department (where she took care of the F1 car livery as well as team wear and corporate events) she is working as a full-time freelance illustrator and graphic designer from her home studio in the countryside of Reggio Emilia, near Bologna.
Monica enjoys working with both traditional and digital illustration techniques, moreover she loves mixing these techniques and experimenting.
She usually works with Alfredo (her partner), Pimpa and Raka (her dogs) and Ecate (formally, her black cat: we all know she’s the true queen of the house).
Monica firmly believes in equality (social-, racial-, gender-) and equal opportunities: to her, every person is amazingly unique, but we all have the same worth and should have the same rights, and she does her best to support this belief.
She likes history, ninjas, pirates and witty wordplays; she doesn’t like eggplants and discotheques.
While not working, you can find her playing videogames, reading books, talking with pets or watching tv series.
