About the ILLUSTRATOR

Nicoletta Ranieri studied at the Academy of Communication in Milan.
She works in Italy for several publishers and she has been working for the children magazine Gbaby and for The Newspaper, San Paolo Editor. She also illustrated some adult sections of Famiglia Cristiana. Among the books she has illustrated for the same editor we can list: “My grandfather was a cherry” by Angela Nanetti, “The Daughter of the Sun” and “The Elf Desert” by A. Tarzia. Furthemore she is the illustrator of ” A Great Joy”, stories about Christmas for the Editor Pauline, Milan. She has been collaborating with Hoepli for “The Secret Garden”, “Cinderella”, “Alice in Wonderland” and “The Sleeping Beauty”. For House Billy Boy in Milan, she illustrated “The Son of the Vizier”, the book “The Guardian of the leaves”, tales of Alberto Blacks. Moreover she created the cover images of the novels “Piera and Women of Lenin”. These latter were selected in 2014 at the Biennial of Illustration in Croatia, where they have been used for the 2015 calendar.
She participates in several group exhibitions in Italy and abroad.
