About the ILLUSTRATOR

Rebecca Lisotta was born in Fano in 1971.
She got her diploma at Scuola del Libro in Urbino, in 1990.
Since 1996 she started her career as set designer for motion-picture films.
She worked in the background artists team for the feature film La Gabbianella e il Gatto, Momo, Opopomoz by Enzo D Alo and in Juan Padan, based on a monologue by Dario Fo.
She was also set designer for tv series produced by RAI like Corto Maltese, Le storie di Anna, La compagnia dei Celestini, Monster Allergy, Un medico in famiglia, Angel s friends, Spike Team.
She is mainly committed to artistic and stylistic researches of scenes for cartoon productions, such as I Roteò and Gli Animotosi, realised for Ferrero; for tv series produced by RAI such as Stellina, Farhat 2, Capitan Kuk, Teen Days.
In 2012 she collaborated with Annalisa Corsi for the creation of the settings for the gorgeous animations of Cenerentola una favola in diretta, broadcasted by Rai Uno worldwide, in June 2012.
Today she works for the design settings of the tv serie L isola del tesoro, broadcasted by RAI.
For the publishing industry she has recently created the illustrations for La serenata di Ugo e i balli di Tea – LE STORIE DI UGO E TEA, edited by Noi per Voi for the Mayer Onlus 2012 and Il Conte di Monte Cristo, edited by Pearson 2014.
